Last updated August 2026
SupportCard is operated by South Sphere Tech (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. By creating an account or using SupportCard you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
SupportCard is a co-parenting record-keeping and communication platform. It helps parents log custody check-ins, track expense requests, share calendar events, store documents, and communicate through a neutral, timestamped channel.
No money moves through SupportCard. We do not hold, transfer, or facilitate any movement of funds between users. Subscription billing on iOS is handled entirely by Apple via in-app purchases. All financial records in the app are for tracking and transparency purposes only.
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal adult in your jurisdiction to use SupportCard. By using the app you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian and that your use complies with any applicable custody orders or court agreements.
You agree not to:
SupportCard offers free and paid subscription tiers. On iOS, paid subscriptions are billed through Apple in-app purchases and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. Prices are displayed in-app and may vary by region. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date through your Apple ID account settings. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly.
SupportCard includes an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude. AI responses are for informational and organisational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, psychological, or parenting advice. AI outputs may contain errors — always verify important information independently.
You own the data you enter into SupportCard. We process it only as described in our Privacy Policy. When you delete your account your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
When you link with a co-parent, certain records you create — expense requests, calendar events, messages, and custody check-ins — become visible to them. You acknowledge and consent to this sharing when you initiate or accept a co-parent link.
If you grant a professional (social worker, attorney, mediator) access to your records, they receive read-only visibility to the data you authorise. You may revoke this access at any time from Settings.
SupportCard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that records logged in the app will be accepted as evidence in any legal proceeding. Use of SupportCard does not create any attorney-client or professional relationship.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, South Sphere Tech (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of SupportCard. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of SupportCard after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify you via the app for material changes.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
